Windows 11 Insider Pulse – Pureinfotech Newsletter #3
Clock, Start & Color – Your latest Windows 11 deep dive.
In this issue, Microsoft is bringing the clock to the Notification Center and is beginning to test a new Start menu design. I'm also sharing a new video with the steps to use the Auto Dark Mode app to change between the Windows 11 light and dark color modes on schedule.
Furthermore, I'm including details about the new features and changes in the latest preview builds of Windows 11. Finally, we are getting an early look at the fixes and improvements coming with the July 2025 Security Update for Windows 11 and 10.
🧠 Guides for Windows 11
Microsoft brings back the familiar clock experience on Windows 11's Notification Center, which also includes seconds.
You can now try the new unified Start menu on Windows 11, which has a bigger and simpler modern design. If you have a PC enrolled in the Dev or Beta Channel, you can enable it now using the ViveTool.
I've already published the steps to use the Auto Dark Mode app to change between the light and dark color modes, but this time, I'm sharing the video tutorial I recently uploaded to the Pureinfotech YouTube channel.
🔁 Windows Insider Preview builds
Since my last newsletter, Microsoft has published two preview builds of Windows 11, including build 26120.4441 (KB5060816) in the Beta Channel and build 26200.5651 (KB5060818) in the Dev Channel with a slew of new features and improvements.

📣 July 2025 Patch Tuesday Update
Microsoft is already previewing the July 2025 Update for Windows 11 and 10 through the Release Preview Channel of the Windows Insider Program.
I'm sharing the two articles highlighting the new features and changes, but I'll be updating them as new information becomes available.
See ➡️ Build 22631.5545 (KB5060826) for Windows 11 drops as the July 2025 Update (preview)
See ➡️ Build 19045.6029 (KB5061087) for Windows 10 drops as the July 2025 Update (preview)
For clarification, during the early days, Microsoft never defined its updates in the Release Preview Channel with the name of the final release. When the updates are ready for the Stable Channel as a preview, they will be known as non-security updates, and it's not until they become fully available during the Patch Tuesday Update release that the company will label them as the "July 2025 Security Update."
Also, it's important to note that the company doesn't release new features immediately. A new feature advertised as part of an update only marks the beginning of the gradual rollout. It also depends on the geographical location, software, and hardware configuration. For example, because of the rules in Europe, many features take longer to arrive.
